OJSC Rechitsa metizny plant, the largest enterprise in the Republic of Belarus, was established by the brothers Boris and Vladimir Rikk in 1912 as a wire and nails making factory. Now it is a member of Belarusian metallurgical company holding. The factory specializes in the manufacture of metal products: nails, wood screws, screws, self-tapping screws, bolts, screw nuts, rivets, shafts, splints and wires.
New production, Hot dip galvanizing shop, was put into operation on March 30th, 2011. The equipment manufactured by Gimeco company (Italy) was chosen as the basic equipment which enables to make galvanizing of metal structures with the length of 12.5 m, width of 1.5 m, height of 2.5 m and the mass of up to 7 tons and in automatic mode to make galvanizing of pipes with the length of 4.0 to 8.2 m and diameter of ½ to 4 inches. The possible coating thickness is from 40 to 250 micron.
The production capacity of the shop comes to 130 tons per day. Manufacturing process and buildings fully meet the most stringent environment and labour safety requirements as evidenced by the data of systematic monitoring conducted by supervising organizations.
Quality management system for hardware manufacture and rendering services of zinc coating application on steel pipes and metal structures by means of hot dip galvanizing is certified for meeting the requirements of STB ISO 9001-2015.
